Job Description
sundays studio is a non-toxic nail care brand rooted in wellness, known for mindful experiences, clean products, and creating calm in the beauty space. As a Video Editor, you will support the marketing team in creating engaging, social-first video content focused on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. This role emphasizes storytelling, pacing, and performance-driven content, requiring a candidate who can work independently, contribute creative ideas, and produce polished content that aligns with our brand identity. The position involves travel between studio locations for content capture and collaboration with studio teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
- Cut and assemble raw footage into engaging, fast-paced, on-brand videos.
- Add music, captions, text overlays, and transitions aligned with current trends.
- Repurpose existing footage into short, shareable clips.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content ideas and creative direction.
- Maintain consistency in visual style, tone, and brand identity.
- Receive and implement feedback to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.
- Stay up to date on social trends, editing styles, and platform best practices.
- Film content in collaboration with the marketing and studio teams.
- Travel between studio locations to capture content, support campaigns, and ensure consistent brand storytelling.
- Assist the team with miscellaneous marketing and content projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience editing video content for social media platforms is required.
- Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current social media trends.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable traveling between multiple studio locations as needed.
- Ability to receive, implement, and apply feedback effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.
- Portfolio demonstrating video editing and content creation experience required.
