Job Description

Bully Pulpit International is an outcomes agency that combines the expertise of strategists, data scientists, and artists across politics, brands, and government. We are seeking a generative AI video creative to join our ambitious team and create visually powerful campaigns for a global clientele. This role involves creatively polishing AI video clips, understanding post-production elements like shot selection and pacing, and collaborating with a talented team to define the visual voice of our campaigns. You will also help develop elite freelance relationships while rapidly producing high-quality advertising and social content using generative AI workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Translate strategic briefs into visually compelling concepts using AI-assisted workflows.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate creative directions for internal and client review.
• Generate and edit high-quality video content using AI-powered tools.
• Integrate AI-generated assets with various media formats to maintain aesthetic consistency.
• Ensure all outputs are broadcast-ready or social-ready, managing AI artifacts effectively.
• Maintain awareness of licensing, IP, and other considerations related to generative AI content.
• Provide strategic guidance on AI-assisted production capabilities and timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with agency teams in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• AI Fluency: Deep mastery of top-tier generative models (e.g., Midjourney, Runway) and upscaling tools.
• Cinematic Experience: Background in directing and/or cinematography with a solid understanding of lighting and framing.
• Elevated Taste Level: Strong editorial judgment across pacing, performance, and emotional storytelling.
• Versatility: Experience in creating both social-first content and polished campaign creative.
• Production Reality: Ability to balance speed and quality during production processes.
• Temperament & Mindset: Highly organized, reliable, and able to integrate seamlessly into collaborative workflows.

• Audio Editing Skills: Exceptional sound design capabilities (SFX and Foley).
• Color Correction/Grading Skills: Ability to match shots and live-action footage.
• Advanced AI Workflows: Experience with node-based AI interfaces and custom model training.
• Motion Graphics Skills: Ability to design and animate custom typography and graphic overlays.
