Job Description

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to design and build Java and Spring Boot services while maintaining supporting Angular frontend components. The role involves leading the transition toward domain-driven architecture, architecting clean RESTful APIs, and working within cross-functional squads, dedicating approximately 70–80% of your time to server-side logic, performance, and system design.

Requirements

Must Haves

• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and a solid working knowledge of Angular, with at least 3 years of experience.
• A strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and software design patterns.
• Deep experience building and consuming RESTful services with a clear understanding of standard API protocols.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate.
• A passion for server-side logic, performance, and architecture.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with spec-driven development or related AI-Driven Software Development Life Cycle.
• Previous experience in the Loyalty or Fintech sectors.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience refactoring legacy structures into modern, domain-driven architectures.
