We are Uncensored Inc. and are preparing a new podcast, The Flop Files, hosted by Jazzamine Ray, focusing on failures within the entertainment industry. After her long career and the conclusion of her Netflix show The Lincoln Lawyer, Jazzamine is launching this podcast to discuss lessons learned from industry setbacks. For this project, we are seeking a podcast producer to set up and test microphones, audio interfaces, and recording equipment ahead of each session. You will be responsible for recording clean, broadcast-ready audio and video during live tapings, editing episodes for pacing and clarity, mixing and mastering audio to achieve consistent levels, and troubleshooting equipment issues as needed. The role also involves delivering final edited episodes on a consistent schedule and organizing and archiving all raw and final audio files. The work will take place on-site in Los Angeles, and it is a single project with the potential for follow-up work. We prefer someone available for a day or two and open to applicants who are willing to travel.
