Job Description

The NFL Media Group is seeking a versatile digital video editor with advanced skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop. The Digital Video Editor is responsible for executing daily deliverables for NFL digital platforms using NFL footage and custom graphics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the storytelling behind each creative output to ensure it is clear, concise, and tailored to our audience.
• Exhibit knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including advanced skills in using Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Stay updated with NFL events, storylines, and trends to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
• Design, build, and animate various graphics and elements for NFL digital platforms.
• Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Select appropriate shots and footage to enhance the narrative and visual appeal of the content.
• Collaborate with other team members when necessary.
• Ensure all content adheres to NFL Media’s brand guidelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Must follow and have thorough knowledge of the National Football League, associated events, and storylines.
• Must be able to take complex stories and concisely tell them to our fans.
• Must be adaptable and able to work quickly under short deadlines.
• Experience editing high-end content for social/digital platforms and/or broadcast with advanced skills in using Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, acting as your own production assistant to ensure all preparatory work is completed efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workflow and research tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast media, web production, or related field preferred.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

• Part-time – up to 29 hours or less/week.
• Seasonal - up to 7 months of employment.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range of $43.28 - $63.58 USD, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, they might be willing to pay for the posted job in the specified location. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range.
