Job Title: Remote Wedding Post-Production Editor (Freelance Retainer)
About FoviMedia: FoviMedia is a boutique post-production studio dedicated to cinematic wedding storytelling, specializing in rhythm and emotional impact. We are a team of storytellers looking for skilled editors to bring wedding stories to life.
This role is a fully remote, fully asynchronous freelance retainer position. We provide a dependable flow of work without the ongoing need to find new clients, allowing geographic and temporal freedom.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional wedding video editing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating musicality, pacing, and color work.
- Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Workflow: Comfortable working with proxies and managing assets within Frame.io.
- Professionalism: Ability to manage deadlines, communicate clearly, and deliver a polished product that respects the couple’s genuine connection.
Additional Information
- Core Deliverables: Editing Wedding Highlight films, Feature Films, and Social Reels.
- Predictable Workload: 1 to 4 projects per month, customized based on availability.
- Seamless Workflow: Utilize a cloud-based proxy workflow for fast, high-quality output.
- Brand Alignment: Maintain the distinct FoviMedia aesthetic of rhythmic, intentional, heart-led storytelling.
- Turnaround Times: Social Reels: 3–5 business days, Montage Videos: 7–10 business days, Wedding Highlights: 10–14 business days, Feature Films: 14–21 business days.
- Compensation: Freelance retainer role with compensation ranging from $600 to $3,200 or more per month, based on project volume and assignments.
- Benefits: Flexible schedule.
