Our Client, Vehlo is on a mission to automate and accelerate the vehicle repair industry with software and payment solutions designed to help auto service teams acquire, service and retain lifelong customers. Our customers include auto repair and collision locations as well as new and used dealerships, where we provide management systems, payment services, communications tools, scheduling modules, as well as accounting and finance packages. We operate in a high-growth, high-performance environment.

The Shop-Ware team is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join them. The team develops modern Shop Management Software that not only provides transformational shop management tools but also transparent customer-facing communications. The result is increased efficiency, enhanced profitability, and exceptional customer service for each of our customers.

In this role, you will build and rapidly iterate on full stack application features using highly customized APIs and integrations in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, contribute architectural vision and execution, and continually help improve development practices to deliver highly available software.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of React, including understanding its pros and cons, effective organization of code, and writing efficient and understandable code.
• Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, particularly client-side code.
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or SQL.
• Experience with Backbone.js is a plus.
• At least 5+ years of experience suggested.
• This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be able to work within the EST Time Zone.
• Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails 6, HTML, CSS, and React is required.
• Ability to provide non-proprietary and non-confidential sample(s) of your work if possible.
