Job Description

Sovereign Lifestyle is hiring a short-form video editor to produce high-volume Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts each week. This is a paid-per-reel position starting at $10 per completed reel, with the potential for raises based on performance. The goal is to produce approximately 20 edited reels per week. The ideal candidate should understand short-form content, particularly in the fitness niche, and be able to edit raw talking-head videos into clean, engaging reels. Sovereign Lifestyle focuses on natural bodybuilding, training, nutrition, and high-performance lifestyle content. The role involves editing videos and uploading finished reels back to a shared cloud folder.

Requirements

• Experience editing Instagram Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts.
• Ability to follow reference videos closely.
• Fast turnaround time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Clean captioning skills and good pacing/timing.
• Familiarity with Google Drive.
• Ability to handle 20 reels a week.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with fitness or bodybuilding content is a plus.

Compensation

This role starts at $10 per completed reel, with opportunities for raises based on editing quality, speed of delivery, caption accuracy, and ability to handle weekly volume. Reliable editors who consistently produce strong work can expect pay increases over time.

Revisions

Each completed reel includes one simple revision if needed. Major re-edits or style changes may be counted as a new edit.

Trial Edit

Qualified applicants will be given a trial edit, which includes one raw video clip, an example video showing the desired style, and clear editing instructions. Selection will be based on editing quality, speed, accuracy, clean captions, and overall communication.

Additional Information

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per month
