BUILTSIMPLE is looking for a local videographer in Kuala Lumpur for an eight-week collaboration starting August 21. We create documentary-style YouTube content about calisthenics and bodyweight training for men aged 30–45, and need cinematic raw footage to improve the visual quality of the channel. The work will include filming training sessions, bodyweight exercises, outdoor workouts, walk-and-talk segments, and dynamic movement in parks, gyms, and urban locations.

We expect 2–4 sessions per week, with each session lasting 1–2 hours. We need clean 4K footage with thoughtful composition, sharp focus, natural lighting where possible, and intentional camera movement rather than fast-cut social media visuals. A gimbal and quality lenses are preferred, and drone experience is a plus. Our editor will handle post-production, so only the raw clips are required. We are looking for someone with a portfolio in fitness, sport, movement, or documentary filming, with a test session during the first week and the possibility of ongoing weekly work. My content is documentary-style rather than fast-cut social media content, emphasizing quality over quantity. I’ll be based in Kuala Lumpur for 8 weeks starting soon, and I’m looking for a local videographer to collaborate with over that time.
