Job Description

We are looking for a creative, fast-paced **YouTube Video Editor / Videographer** who understands modern YouTube pacing, retention dynamics, and high-engagement visuals using **CapCut**. The goal is to transform complex financial concepts (investing, index funds, wealth-building strategies) into clear, digestible, and visually dynamic 4-minute videos that hold an audience’s attention from the hook to the final second.

Requirements

_ **Mandatory Software:** **Must use CapCut** (Desktop or Mobile) as the primary editing tool. _(Project files/templates may need to be shared)._

_ **Proven YouTube Portfolio:** Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating modern, high-retention YouTube editing (fast cuts, kinetic text, sound design).

_ **Finance Niche Familiarity:** Ability to visually present numbers, percentages, graphs, and financial graphics cleanly and accurately.

_ **Attention to Detail:** Excellent timing, pacing, and visual storytelling skills.

_ **Reliability:** Ability to hit deadlines consistently and implement feedback efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

_ **Dynamic Editing & Pacing:** Edit ~4-minute raw footage in CapCut into high-retention, polished YouTube content.

_ **Pattern Interrupts:** Strategically insert sound effects, visual resets, zoom-ins, screen shakes, and cuts every 3–5 seconds to maximize audience retention.

_ **B-Roll & Visuals:** Source and integrate high-quality stock footage, kinetic motion graphics, lower thirds, and screen recordings to reinforce financial explanations.

_ **CapCut Graphics & Captions:** Utilize CapCut’s dynamic auto-captions, animated text presets, and graphic overlays across the bottom of the frame to keep viewers locked in.

_ **Audio Design:** Layer engaging background music (ducked properly under voice tracks) and impactful sound effects (risers, swooshes, pop effects).

How to Apply

1. **Link to Portfolio / Reel:** Highlight videos edited in **CapCut** with heavy use of dynamic captions, pattern interrupts, and motion graphics.

2. **Relevant Work Samples:** 1–2 examples of content you’ve edited in the finance, self-improvement, or educational space.

3. **Rates & Turnaround Time:** Your project rate per 4-minute video and expected turnaround time.

_Note: Applicants must be proficient in CapCut. Candidates without a portfolio or video samples showing pattern-interrupt style editing will not be considered._
