Searching for Video Editor For Documentary Style and Commercial Videos [Urgent]
Blenda Creative is looking for a freelance Video Editor to join its ongoing roster for commercial, documentary-style political, advocacy, and branded content. Most projects are two- to three-minute interview-driven pieces using one or two subjects, b-roll, and archival material. Editors will receive a creative brief, transcript, reference links, and approximately 60 to 90 minutes of interview footage with supporting coverage.
Responsibilities include selecting footage, building the narrative, completing the picture edit, correcting and grading log footage, cleaning and mixing audio, selecting music, creating basic motion graphics, and delivering specified formats, including vertical social cutdowns when needed. DaVinci Resolve is preferred, though Premiere is acceptable. Applicants should have strong interview-led storytelling experience, be comfortable with 4K media and cinema-camera footage, communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and be comfortable working on political and advocacy content. The initial project turnaround is expected to be 2 to 4 days, with potential for ongoing work.
