Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for a talented, reliable, and creative video editor to join our team long-term for a Personal Finance and Investing YouTube channel. You will be responsible for editing 2–3 engaging videos per week, with each video approximately 8–12 minutes long. This is a long-term opportunity with bonuses, raises, and growth opportunities based on the quality of your work, reliability, and overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2–3 YouTube videos per week.
• Produce engaging 8–12-minute videos.
• Add relevant stock footage, graphics, animations, sound effects, music, captions, and visual elements.
• Maintain strong pacing to keep viewers engaged.
• Follow the channel’s editing style and brand guidelines.
• Work closely with our team and communicate consistently.
• Complete projects on time.
• Make reasonable revisions when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience editing videos for faceless or animated YouTube channels.
• Experience with personal finance, investing, business, or educational content is preferred.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, viewer retention, and YouTube editing.
• Ability to find and use relevant stock footage and visual assets.
• Comfortable working with a team that will provide the scripts, voiceovers, instructions, and other necessary materials.
• Reliable, responsive, organized, and open to feedback.
• Must be interested in a long-term working relationship.

Payment

• $240 for 12 completed videos.
• Each video will be approximately 8–12 minutes long.
• Bonuses are available for excellent work and strong performance.
• Opportunities for future raises and increased responsibilities.
