Job Description

AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to modernize a Menu Platform, which is a core system for numerous restaurants globally. The role involves utilizing a modern TypeScript stack that includes Node.js, NestJS, and React. Responsibilities include rebuilding backend services, developing shared business logic for web, mobile, and backend applications, and participating in platform migration initiatives related to pricing, promotions, ordering, and menu management in a collaborative Agile environment.

Requirements

MUST HAVES

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills
• Strong experience with Node.js
• Strong experience with React
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• CI/CD experience
• Strong software design and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Upper-intermediate English level

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with React Native
• Familiarity with NestJS
• Experience with monorepo setups
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications
• Exposure to C# / SQL Server
• Understanding of shared code architecture
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot)
• Experience in QSR, retail, or enterprise products
