Job Description

Door G is a creative production studio that merges bold storytelling with various production techniques such as virtual production and AI-enabled workflows. The role revolves around ensuring smooth project preparation for the editing team by organizing and structuring all footage and assets from a shoot. This involves making the material findable and ready for editing, including executing string-outs and rough cuts, while maintaining a high level of organization and quality control.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in post-production at a production company, post house, creative studio, or agency.
• Organizational Skill: Ability to manage a project from card offload to archive in an efficient system while handling multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Editorial Foundation: Strong understanding of continuity, pacing, and shot selection; capable of producing a cohesive rough cut.
• Judgment Under Volume: Ability to identify and surface key content from extensive footage quickly.
• Tech Fluency: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with knowledge of professional media workflows; familiarity with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or Illustrator is advantageous.
• Technical Range: Comfort with codecs, transcoding, and delivery specs, including troubleshooting issues.
• Collaboration: Strong communicator who integrates quickly into teams and takes direction well.
• AI Fluency: Familiarity with AI tools for logging and cleanup, and the ability to assess their efficacy for time-saving.
• A Plus: Experience with virtual production footage, large multicam builds, or individual motion graphics capability.
