Cycom Technology Solutions Inc. is seeking an Audio Visual Lead Technician for an on-site, full-time contract role in North York, Canada, starting as soon as possible. The technician will lead and support the deployment of audiovisual systems at customer sites, provide technical direction to installers and subcontractors, and verify equipment installation, cable terminations, rack assembly, device mounting, labelling, network connectivity, and power requirements.
The role includes configuring and testing system programming and firmware, commissioning systems, testing audio, video, cameras, control systems, and end-to-end performance against approved designs. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and interoperability issues; prepare commissioning reports and deficiency lists; support client demonstrations, acceptance testing, training, handover, and post-installation service escalations.
