We are launching a three-camera video podcast in Chicago for Gambling Recovery: Taking Back Your Life and need a patient video editor and mentor. The work includes editing the first 5–7 episodes in Adobe Premiere Pro, syncing camera footage, selecting camera angles, cleaning up audio, applying colour correction, adding captions and graphics, and exporting full YouTube episodes.

We also need social clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The goal is to learn the editing workflow and eventually handle more of the process in-house, so hands-on guidance is important. We prefer someone available for on-site or hybrid sessions in Chicago, though applicants willing to travel are welcome.

I’m Jimmy Morris, founder of Gambling Recovery Media LLC and host of Gambling Recovery: Taking Back Your Life. I launched the podcast in February 2025 after 14 years in recovery from gambling addiction. I first attended Gamblers Anonymous at 23, struggled in and out of recovery for eight years, and experienced serious consequences, including incarceration. Today, I use my story to give hope to gamblers and support families. Gambler’s Anonymous is still a huge part of my life. I attend multiple meetings a week and sponsor members. I’m launching a three-camera video podcast in Chicago and am looking for a patient editor and mentor to help me learn the process.
