Camera Operator is needed in China.

Robot24.com is seeking an experienced freelance field videographer/camera operator for an ongoing collaboration of approximately 8–10 filming days per month. You will work with a journalist/host to capture robotics news on location, including interviews, robot demonstrations, factories, industry events, public spaces and spontaneous moments. Footage must work for short-form social content such as Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, as well as longer editorial videos.

You should be confident operating a camera independently in fast-moving environments, capturing clean audio, framing and lighting quickly, and adapting to unexpected developments. Professional videography, camera operation or videojournalism experience is required, along with strong social-first storytelling instincts, professional-grade equipment experience and the ability to work closely with an on-camera host. This is a long-term role for a China-based freelancer.

To make this possible, we are building freelance field teams across the globe, with teams on every continent, each working with us on a long-term basis for approximately 8–10 filming days per month. Our field teams capture relevant robotics stories wherever they happen, from factories, logistics and manufacturing environments to exhibitions and industry events, as well as hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, public spaces and other locations where robots are being deployed in interesting, unusual or viral ways. We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Field Videographer to become a regular part of one of our field teams. This is not a one-time assignment. We are looking for a long-term freelance collaboration for approximately 8–10 filming days per month.
