Speaker Reel

Snowbird Global, a global business consultancy firm, needs a video editor and motion designer to create a speaker reel for Gautam Ramdurai, its Founder and Principal. The reel will help conference organisers, HR leaders and speaker bureaus understand the value he brings to senior-leader audiences. We need a creative treatment and moodboard, followed by a script-based storyboard, rough cut, fine cut and final edit with colour grading, sound design, music, motion design, an end card and exports in agreed formats.

The visual direction should communicate intelligence and sincerity, with strong motion graphics, sound effects, creative storytelling and clear visual explanations of abstract concepts. References include buttered_official, Vox and Johnny Harris, while avoiding the typical speaker-reel style. We aim to complete the project within three to four weeks of kickoff, subject to agreement on the treatment, storyboard and revision process.

Johnnyharris- At certain sections of our Speaker Reel, we will have to explain some abstract concepts visually. The Johnny Harris’ videos are great examples of how to visually communicate concepts.

John Sanei Speaker Reel - We want our video’s tone, visuals and approach to be distinct from typical speaker reels like this one. We want to step out of the cliche and make something different.
