Career Mapping and Tribute
I need an illustrator or graphic designer to create a career map and tribute artwork for Professor Juan E. Méndez. The final piece will be printed, framed, and presented as a gift recognising his career in international human rights law, including his work against torture, his scholarship and mentorship, and his roles with the United Nations, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, Human Rights Watch, and the International Criminal Court.
The illustration should be profile-led rather than a complete list of positions, condensing his most important achievements into a clear, readable visual narrative. It should communicate gratitude, admiration, warmth, and respect, using vibrant but restrained colours. Possible themes include “A Life Against Torture” or “Leading Anti-Torture Fighter,” with particular consideration of the Méndez Principles on effective interviewing. I am looking for a high-quality, thoughtful design that balances key information with an elegant presentation.
