Starting a podcast called Big Naturals, a name that started as a joke and has unfortunately survived every opportunity we’ve had to reconsider it.

We’re two women in Northwest Arkansas who are very good at sitting around telling insane stories, making each other laugh, oversharing, and conducting lengthy investigations into people and situations that have absolutely nothing to do with us.

Naturally, we bought microphones.

We don’t want to make another podcast where two women sit down and say “soooo how was your week?” for 74 minutes. We want an actual show that’s funny, story-driven, tight enough that strangers care, but still loose enough that it sounds like us.

Our biggest fear is hiring someone who makes us “professional” and accidentally removes the exact thing that makes it funny.

What we actually need is someone who can listen to our raw conversations and tell us: this is the story, start here, shut up here, go deeper here, Meg should interrupt you here, nobody cares about this part, and THAT thing you almost skipped over is the funniest part.

Basically, we need adult supervision without actual supervision.

We’re in Northwest Arkansas and would love to do it in person if you’re open to traveling. We’re happy to cover travel, obviously. We have an airport. We have hotels. We have recently acquired indoor plumbing.
