2D Anime Character Animator – Photo Frequency: Hotel 23

We are State Royale Media, a UK-based independent creative studio developing Photo Frequency: Hotel 23, an original game and entertainment IP that combines interactive storytelling, animation, music and social content. We need a professional 2D character animator for mature anime/manga-inspired work, with semi-realistic proportions, expressive facial acting, strong poses, clean linework and cinematic character performance.

The initial assignment is a paid 5–8 second animation test, with potential ongoing work on recurring characters including Taylor Anderson and Paris Williams. Animation will support social and video content, music videos, narrative scenes and game cinematics. Experience with Japanese-style 2D animation, key animation, clean-up, in-betweening, consistent character drawing, and hair and clothing secondary motion is needed.

We are currently building a small remote creative team and looking for talented animators who can help us develop recurring characters for 2D anime-inspired content, music videos, narrative scenes and game-related cinematics.
