Wiki Writers is looking for a skilled and detail oriented Wikipedia Page Editor to join our specialist team. If you understand Wikipedia’s editorial policies inside out, have a strong eye for neutral encyclopedic writing, and know what it takes to get a page approved and keep it live, this role is built for you.

About the Role

This is not a general content editing role. We work exclusively on Wikipedia and every editor we hire wikipedia editor level experience with the platform’s policies, submission process, and reviewer expectations. You will be editing, reviewing, and refining drafts across a wide range of client projects from businesses and entrepreneurs to public figures, authors, and organisations.

What You Will Do

Review and edit Wikipedia drafts written by the team before submission ensuring full compliance with Wikipedia’s editorial guidelines
Assess notability of subjects and identify gaps in sourcing before editing begins
Ensure all content follows Wikipedia’s neutral point of view, verifiability, and no original research policies
Format citations correctly using Wikipedia’s referencing standards
Submit pages through Wikipedia’s Articles for Creation process and monitor review progress
Respond to reviewer feedback and handle revisions until the page is successfully published
Support the wikipedia page creation process from draft stage through to live publication
Update and maintain existing Wikipedia pages for long term clients
Recover and rescue declined or flagged drafts
Mentor junior writers on Wikipedia editorial standards and best practices

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience editing and publishing Wikipedia pages with a strong approval record
Deep knowledge of Wikipedia’s core content policies including neutral point of view, verifiability, notability, and conflict of interest guidelines
Strong research skills with the ability to identify and evaluate credible third party sources
Excellent written English with the ability to write and edit in a neutral, encyclopedic tone
Experience navigating the Articles for Creation review process
Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Portfolio of successfully published and edited Wikipedia pages is required
