2.5D Motion Designer for Vertical YouTube Shorts (After Effects, Parallax)Urgent

We are looking for a 2.5D motion designer to create finished 45–70 second vertical YouTube Shorts for Dave Explains, a faceless Shorts brand. You will work from supplied scripts, voiceovers, character assets, references and a style guide, producing 1080x1920 MP4s and organised After Effects project files. The visual style combines a cartoon vector narrator with realistic or AI-generated environments, layered parallax camera movement, lip-sync, subtle character animation, cutout props, bold word-by-word captions and sound design.

The first paid test Short should be delivered within 5–7 days of kickoff. This can become ongoing work on 4–8 Shorts per month. You should have a portfolio showing vertical 2.5D parallax work, be fluent in English and able to meet consistent deadlines.

We run Dave Explains (69K subs), a vertical Shorts brand and we’re building a small recurring team around it. We already work with freelance editors, animators, writers and thumbnail artists across several time zones. We pay on time, give clear briefs, and provide everything you need: script, VO, character assets, references and a style guide. If the first Short works out, this becomes 4-8 Shorts a month, ongoing.
