Job Description
PIC Collective, an entertainment and motion design studio based in Hollywood, is seeking an experienced freelance theatrical trailer / promo editor for a high-profile music and entertainment project. We are looking for a strong storyteller who can work with archival footage, interviews, music, and performance material to create a cinematic, emotional, high-energy piece akin to a theatrical trailer.
Requirements
MUST HAVES:
- Professional experience editing theatrical trailers, entertainment promos, or comparable high-end short-form content
- Exceptional storytelling, pacing, music, and sound-design instincts
- Strong reel demonstrating relevant theatrical trailer or promo work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Avid Media Composer
- Experience working with archival and interview footage
- Ability to work quickly and collaboratively under a tight deadline
Experience with music, documentary, award-show, or artist-driven content is a plus.
Additional Information
Job Type: Freelance / Contract
Rate: $500–$700 per day, depending on experience
Location: Los Angeles, CA REMOTE
Pay: From $600.00 per day
