Job Description

The role involves designing, implementing, and expanding data pipelines through various activities. The successful candidate will translate technical specifications into tested applications, create detailed programming specifications, write and debug code, and provide technical support for software packages including implementations and migrations.

Requirements

Core Skills and Experience - 40%

• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale multi-client web applications.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in Java development with Azure SQL database, Dataverse, and Oracle.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RestAPI, React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS.
• Knowledge and experience in microservice architecture.
• Working experience in building mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Proven experience with WCAG and AODA.
• Experience with responsive web application development.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.

Technical Skills and Experience - 35%

• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Object-oriented coding practices including design patterns knowledge.
• Knowledge of major architecture styles (message-oriented, reactive, event-based).
• Experience with blockchain and smart contract development using solidity.

Soft Skills - 20%

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and teamwork skills.
• Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving.

Public Sector Experience - 5%

• Experience with OPS Development standards/process.

Must Have

• Experience with React Native framework for cross-platform mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• Hands-on experience with developing mobile apps.
• Knowledge of Android SDK, iOS SDK, and platform-specific APIs.
• Familiarity with native modules and bridging between React Native and native code (Objective-C/Swift or Java/Kotlin).
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.

Nice to Have

• Experience with App Store and Google Play Store deployment processes.
