Character development for a children's book series

Character Designer is needed in South Africa.

I am developing an original children’s picture book series featuring 12 recurring South African animal characters. I need a professional 3D character artist or character development studio to create stylised-realistic, anthropomorphic animal characters with believable juvenile anatomy, subtle human qualities, expressive emotions, soft realistic fur, child-friendly proportions, and a polished feature-animation-quality finish. The characters must be original, visually distinctive, and suitable for premium children’s publishing.

I have concept images, personality descriptions, colour direction, and identifying features for each character. The work will involve resolving these into consistent, reusable master assets, including sculpted and modelled 3D characters, turnaround views, expression and pose sheets, colour, material and grooming specifications, anatomy guidelines, character style guides, and high-resolution cinematic renders for print. The immediate use is a printed book series, with potential future use in educational materials, merchandise, and animation. Delivery is needed before the end of the year.
