The Becoming Project: Music Production & Artist Development

I’m looking for a music producer to collaborate with me on an artist development project called The Becoming Project. I am a writer and developing artist, and my words, voice, lived experiences, ideas and emotions are the foundation of my music. I want to create authentic songs about personal growth, struggle, healing, faith, relationships, self-discovery and becoming, with an Afrobeats/Afropop sound that includes soulful, emotional and melodic elements.

I need a producer who can collaborate from the writing stage and support melody development, arrangement, vocal delivery, instrumentation, mixing, mastering and overall sonic identity. I would like to start with one song, “Get It Right,” as a test collaboration, with scope to develop more songs together if the creative fit is strong. I also value a collaborative producer who can explain the production process as I develop my own skills over time. There is no fixed deadline; the priority is quality and creative fit.

I’m an independent creative building a long term project called The Becoming Project. I’m developing myself as a writer, vocalist and artist, with my writing, voice, lived experiences, ideas and emotions at the center of the music. My goal is to create meaningful music that connects with people emotionally and speaks about growth, struggle, healing, faith, relationships, self discovery and becoming. I’m currently looking for a producer who can understand the person and story behind the music not just make a beat. I want to collaborate closely on songwriting, melody, arrangement, vocal development, production and the overall sound of each record. I’m starting with one song, [Get It Right] as a test collaboration. If we have strong creative chemistry and the process feels right, I’m interested in developing more music together.
