Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor specialized in social media content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. In this role, you will craft engaging visual stories that captivate audiences, elevate brand presence, and drive engagement across multiple digital channels. Your expertise in video storytelling, motion graphics, and post-production will be essential to produce high-quality content that resonates with diverse viewers. Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling videos optimized for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign goals.
• Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio editing to ensure polished and professional video outputs.
• Manage media assets efficiently using media editing tools and content management systems.
• Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and marketing teams to develop creative concepts and storylines.
• Apply lighting techniques during filming sessions to improve video quality and visual appeal.
• Ensure all videos meet technical specifications for each platform while maintaining consistency in style and branding.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Bridge, InDesign, and Audition.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Maya (for 3D animation), Cinema 4D (for motion graphics), and other media editing tools.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives through video content.
• Expertise in videography techniques such as lighting for video production and filming best practices.
• Knowledge of color correction/editing workflows using Capture One or Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and manipulation.
• Ability to perform photo editing and photo manipulation to complement video projects.
• Familiarity with FTP protocols for file transfer and content management systems for organizing media assets.
• Technical proficiency in audio/video processing for high-quality output across multiple platforms.
• Skills in typography design for overlay text or titles within videos.
• Experience creating 2D/3D animations or motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
