Job Description

Worktank is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor to shape raw footage into polished, on-brand videos and broadcast content for our customers. The role involves editing corporate videos, executive messages, and event or broadcast content from raw footage through final delivery, while ensuring that the story structure, pacing, and flow align with the creative vision and the client’s message.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional editing experience, ideally in corporate, brand, or broadcast work
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve (or comparable NLE)
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and finishing showcased in a portfolio reel
• Organized with media, project versions, and deliverables; reliable under deadline
• Clear communication and ability to take direction well across multiple feedback rounds

Exceptional candidates will also possess:

• Motion graphics and design skills (After Effects)
• Color grading and audio mixing/sweetening experience
• Familiarity with enterprise or tech-industry clients and their standards
• Experience with remote review workflows (Frame.io or similar)
• Ability to work quickly on fast-turnaround broadcast or event content

Compensation and Benefits

We offer freelance hourly compensation between $70.00 and $90.00 per hour based on qualifications. Freelancers can choose projects that align with their interests and skill set, set their own schedules around personal life or other commitments, and work with diverse teams, directors, and clients.
