Creative Shopify Web Designer for Illustrated Children’s BrandUrgent

We are an independent Australian children’s publishing and entertainment brand looking for a creative Shopify web designer to polish an existing website. The site, products, content, branding and illustrated animal character artwork are already in place, so this is not a full rebuild. We need improvements to typography, spacing, layouts, visual hierarchy, product presentation, backgrounds, colour treatments, and desktop and mobile consistency. You should be comfortable implementing the improvements directly in Shopify, not only creating mockups.

The visual direction should feel warm, colourful, playful and storybook-inspired, with a polished 2D cartoon and character-led feel that appeals to both children and parents. We want to move away from a standard ecommerce-template appearance while keeping the existing character artwork as the focus. Experience with children’s, illustrated, publishing, toy, animation, entertainment or colourful consumer brands is preferred. The main work must be substantially completed within seven calendar days of starting.

The goal is a polished 2D cartoon feel that is playful and character-led, but still clean, easy to navigate and appealing to parents as well as children.

Bluey is a good reference for the overall energy and parent appeal, but I am not looking to copy its artwork, branding or visual identity.
