VR Soualiga

We are seeking a game composer/music producer to create or provide original music for VR Soualiga, an immersive virtual reality project by STEAM B.V. The soundtrack should reflect Caribbean culture and heritage while supporting the project’s futuristic, interactive world. The work is intended for a single commission, with potential for future follow-up work, and we need delivery by 22 September 2026.

We require an exclusive worldwide assignment of all transferable economic rights in both the musical composition and master recording for the full copyright term. The music must be cleared for use in an interactive VR game, commercial releases, future game versions, trailers, education, exhibitions, promotion, and separate soundtrack distribution. Deliverables must include signed rights assignments, ownership and contributor declarations, an invoice, final WAV files, and available stems. Music must have no prior licences, unapproved contributors, conflicting publishing or management interests, or uncleared samples.

Jean Oneli Blaise is a creative entrepreneur, author, filmmaker, and cultural storyteller from St. Maarten. As the founder of STEAM B.V. and creator of VR Soualiga, his work brings together Afrofuturism, Caribbean heritage, education, and emerging technology. Through immersive storytelling and interactive experiences, he seeks to preserve ancestral knowledge, amplify underrepresented histories, and inspire new generations to explore their cultural identity. For this commission, Jean is seeking to collaborate with a music producer to create an original soundtrack that reflects the cultural richness of the Caribbean while complementing the futuristic and immersive world of VR Soualiga.
