BRIDGES OF LIGHT
Book Cover Designer is needed in South Africa.
I am looking for an experienced book cover designer to create the cover for my forthcoming memoir, BRIDGES OF LIGHT: Finding Family Across the Apartheid Line. Set in South Africa during the final years of apartheid, the book follows a personal journey from racial division and hostility towards reconciliation, friendship, family and hope. I need a premium, emotionally powerful cover with the quality and atmosphere of a cinematic film poster while retaining the sophistication of a serious literary memoir.
The design may combine my photograph, a bridge as a key symbol, an authentic South African setting, subtle historical references and dramatic natural light in a seamless, realistic composition. I am not looking for a generic template, illustration or a simple stock-photo layout. The final artwork should demonstrate strong photographic compositing, image manipulation, lighting, typography and attention to detail. A more detailed creative brief and reference material will be provided to the selected designer. The project is needed by 2 October 2026.
