Job Description

Seeking an AVID Video Editor with a strong sense of storytelling to create, edit, and deliver short-form documentaries, promotional videos, and web clips.

The role is based at a small private production facility that produces and distributes content supporting non-profit initiatives, including web content, corporate events, fundraisers, and conferences.

The editor will collaborate with producers, writers, other editors, and a motion graphics designer.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of Avid Media Composer and shared storage systems.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Understanding of codecs used for web compression.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under deadline pressure.
• Strong concentration and attention to accuracy.
• Collaborative approach and a creative eye for storytelling.
• Must be located in the Los Angeles area and available to work in the office Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Employment Details

• Job type: Temporary.
• Guaranteed schedule: 40 hours per week for two months.
• Pay: $38.00 per hour.
• Potential for a permanent, salaried staff position after the initial contract.
