Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on contract Podcast Producer to help launch and manage a growing multi-show video and audio podcast network in Los Angeles. The role covers the full production process, from concept development and recording through editing, publishing and promotion.

The Podcast Producer will work directly with talent, guests, executives and production teams while managing schedules, workflows and delivery across multiple shows. This role will also help establish production standards, content processes and publishing strategies as the network grows.

• Manage episodes from concept through final publication across multiple shows.
• Develop episode rundowns, topics, research and show preparation materials.
• Coordinate talent, guests, schedules and recording sessions.
• Produce and oversee audio and video recordings.
• Edit full-length video and audio episodes.
• Create short-form clips for YouTube Shorts and social media.
• Manage YouTube publishing, including uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters and scheduling.
• Manage podcast hosting, RSS feeds and distribution through platforms such as Spreaker.
• Maintain show pages, episode metadata and publishing calendars.
• Coordinate sponsor integrations and host-read requirements.
• Collaborate with social and marketing teams on episode promotion.
• Monitor YouTube and podcast performance and apply audience insights to improve content.
• Help develop production standards and workflows as the network expands.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in podcast, video, television, radio or digital production.
• Hands-on video and audio editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
• Proven ability to produce shows from pre-production through final publication.
• Practical experience using YouTube Studio for channel and episode management.
• Experience with podcast hosting and distribution platforms such as Spreaker, Megaphone, Libsyn, Art19 or similar services.
• Working knowledge of RSS feeds and YouTube and podcast analytics.
• Strong understanding of podcasts, YouTube and short-form content.
• Comfort working directly with talent and executives.
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple shows and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience working on an established or high-profile podcast is preferred.
• Must be able to personally produce and/or edit submitted work samples.
