Job Description

Fox News Media is seeking a Freelance Long-Form Editor to join the Fox Nation Post-Production Team. The editor will create highly creative, compelling, and technically polished long-form content across multiple platforms, managing projects from raw footage through final delivery.

The role involves shaping narratives, developing graphics, finishing audio, and delivering broadcast-ready programming across News, Politics, True Crime, Lifestyle, and Sports genres.

• Edit distinctive, stylized long-form programming across multiple genres.
• Collaborate with producers to build strong story arcs, pacing, and narrative flow.
• Conceptualize, create, and integrate motion graphics and visual treatments.
• Select, place, and pace music to enhance emotional impact and storytelling.
• Perform final audio and video quality control to ensure technically accurate, broadcast-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Five to ten years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and demonstrated experience.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with News, Politics, True Crime, Lifestyle, and Sports content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.
• Extensive experience with collaborative, multi-editor workflows in Premiere Pro.
• Strong motion graphics skills and the ability to create polished show graphics and visual treatments.
• Excellent music selection skills and a strong understanding of pacing and rhythm.
• Ability to transform raw footage into engaging long-form content that maintains viewer attention.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong project management and organizational skills.
• Creative, enthusiastic, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach.
• Experience editing and delivering long-form content for streaming platforms is preferred.
• Experience with generative media tools, such as Adobe Firefly or similar AI tools, is a plus.
