Job Description

Bellevue Creative Studio is seeking a freelance Social Media & Content Manager to support a range of lifestyle brands, including beauty, wellness, hospitality, boutique hotels and product brands.

The role involves working directly with the founder on content creation, social media strategy, influencer campaigns and business development. Responsibilities include:

• Planning, shooting and editing short-form content for Reels, TikTok, Stories and Carousels.
• Creating monthly content plans and presenting the strategic rationale behind them.
• Tracking content performance and recommending future tests and improvements.
• Supporting on-location shoot days with setup, styling, lighting and content capture.
• Creating both finished content and behind-the-scenes materials, with occasional on-camera participation.
• Managing influencer and UGC campaigns, including sourcing, outreach, coordination, gifting and reporting.
• Managing the studio’s Instagram presence and showcasing its work.
• Researching potential clients and contributing ideas for new business.
• Helping prepare proposals, pitch decks and case studies.

Requirements

• Significant experience working with a variety of brands, including hotels or hospitality businesses.
• A strong aesthetic eye and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality creative work and measurable results.
• Strategic understanding of why content performs, in addition to strong production skills.
• Confidence shooting and editing social media content.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and representing the studio.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute ideas.

Contract and Schedule

• Freelance contract.
• One day per week, typically 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Some working days will take place on location at client sites across New York City.
• Flexible schedule when required.
• Hybrid remote work based in New York, NY.

Compensation and Benefits

• $40 per hour.
• Approximately 8 hours per week.
• Paid monthly by invoice.
• Flexible schedule.
