Job Description

Christy Sports is seeking an experienced, part-time Temporary Graphic Designer to provide family leave coverage and support the creative and marketing teams. The role will help bring Christy Sports and its family of brands to life across print, in-store, digital campaigns, eCommerce, rental, social media, video, and motion graphics.

Working within established brand guidelines, the Graphic Designer will develop on-brand creative assets, manage day-to-day design requests, and collaborate with creative, marketing, and cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute across concept development, design, production, and asset management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and prepare creative assets for print, digital, social, eCommerce, in-store, video, and other marketing channels.
• Apply creative direction and maintain consistency with brand standards and visual systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand project goals, messaging, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
• Prepare production-ready files and support proofing, execution, and delivery.
• Perform image retouching, compositing, color correction, and other image manipulation.
• Incorporate motion design, animation, and transitions into digital assets when appropriate.
• Apply channel-specific design and accessibility best practices, including typography, readability, and color contrast.
• Maintain organized creative files, templates, logos, photography, signage, and shared assets.
• Upload and manage files in shared drives and asset-management systems.
• Contribute fresh ideas and thoughtful design solutions to existing programs and new creative projects.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional graphic design experience in an in-house, agency, or similar environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating brand, campaign, digital, and production design experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and follow established brand guidelines and creative systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of design, typography, layout, composition, and production practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience with Figma; After Effects or motion design experience is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, planning, time management, and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, flexible approach with a willingness to support a range of creative needs.
• Awareness of current design trends, tools, and techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Outdoor, retail, or lifestyle brand experience is preferred.

Position Details

• Employment type: Temporary, part-time
• Schedule: Approximately 24 hours per week, including in-office work on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Location: Hybrid, based in Lakewood, Colorado
• Expected start date: January 2027
• Assignment duration: Through June 2027
• Compensation: $50 per hour
