Create colourful, child-friendly illustrations for The Girl Who Could Not See the Board, an educational children’s story about Ama, a Ghanaian schoolgirl who receives eye care after struggling to see her classroom board.
The initial scope may begin with a character sheet for Ama and supporting characters plus one sample scene. Illustrations should establish a consistent Ghanaian school environment, including uniforms, classroom details, expressive characters and clear visual storytelling.

Hello,
My name is Aboagye Yaw Ankomah, and I am developing a children’s book project under PrimePrint Solutions / PrimeVibe Creative Studios.
The first book is titled The Girl Who Could Not See the Board. It is an educational story about a Ghanaian schoolgirl named Ama who struggles to see the classroom board, tells a trusted adult, visits an eye-care professional and returns to school with improved vision after receiving appropriate care.
I am looking for an illustrator who can create colourful, child-friendly illustrations suitable for a children’s book.
Project requirements:
Character design for Ama and supporting characters. A consistent Ghanaian school setting, including school uniforms and classroom details. Colour illustrations that communicate emotions and tell the story clearly. Artwork suitable for print and digital publication. High-resolution files and agreed revisions. Permission for commercial publication, book promotion and future editions, as agreed in writing.
My initial illustration budget is GH₵100–300, so I would appreciate a quotation for what can realistically be delivered within this range. I am open to starting with a character sheet and one sample scene before commissioning the remaining artwork.
Please share your portfolio, estimated cost, delivery timeline, revision policy and proposed commercial usage rights.
Thank you. I look forward to discussing a possible collaboration.
