Podcast Producer for Sociology Newsletter ShowSearching
I’m launching a podcast to accompany an established newsletter, with an academic focus on sociology—particularly the concept of habitus. I need a producer who can help shape and run the show from development through ongoing production.
Scope includes episode planning, guest research and booking coordination, production workflow, and general editorial/operational support. Experience producing interview-led or research-driven podcasts is especially relevant.
The podcast may include video, so familiarity with video podcast production, recording workflows, and preparing content for audio and video distribution is important. Please share relevant examples of podcasts you have produced, including your role in booking, editing, and release management.
About the client
I’m a long-time editor and media operator. In previous roles, I produced podcasts myself, including Finding Fred, which hit #1 on Apple Podcasts and was named the best podcast of the year by The Atlantic and nominated for a Peabody. This podcast will have a more academic bent and focus on sociology and, in particular, the idea of habitus.
