Illustrator for 450-Image Children's Book SeriesCOMPLETED

Create approximately 450 illustrations for a children’s book series, featuring around 10 recurring characters. Similar to “dairy of a wimpy kid” book series.

Black-and-white illustrated middle-grade diary art, drawn as if by an 11-year-old girl with a black ballpoint pen and a chisel-tip marker. Confident, loose, slightly wobbly cartoon linework; simplified characters with big expressive eyes, dot pupils, and exaggerated ears; hand-lettered captions and labels inside the image in a kid’s neat-but-not-perfect print; small doodle details in margins; flat white paper background. No shading gradients; use hatching and solid black fills only. No color except where a shot says “spot color.” Clean, funny, warm. Family-friendly. Not photorealistic, not painterly, not anime, not 3D.

Maintain strong visual consistency across all artwork, including each character’s appearance, proportions, expressions, clothing, and overall illustration style. The illustrations should be engaging and appropriate for a young audience.

Please share relevant children’s book or character-illustration portfolio samples, especially work demonstrating consistent characters across a large set of images.
