DaVinci Resolve Colorist for Lighting-Match Research SessionSearching
Match two short 1080p clips to a provided reference shot in DaVinci Resolve. The clips show the same subject on a fixed camera, with differences caused by a dimmed key light and a key light moved to the opposite side of the face.
Use your normal professional color-matching workflow, ideally including DaVinci Resolve Studio’s Relight tool where appropriate. Screen-record the session and briefly explain the steps, decisions, and reasoning behind your approach.
Deliver the screen recording plus two exported, graded clips matched to the reference. Include a short ~10-minute remote discussion on how often lighting mismatches arise in real projects and how you typically address them. The clips are ready, and the session is needed this week.
About the client
I’m Ash, founder of Snaplux, an early-stage startup in Taipei building tools that help colorists fix lighting mismatches between shots, starting with faces. I studied data science at UC Berkeley and black-and-white filmmaking in Osaka, and I’m now working on video relighting. Right now I’m doing research: I want to watch how working colorists actually handle lighting mismatches, so I build something that fits real workflows. The session is short, paid, and can be done remotely. Clips are ready to send.
