I started my career as an illustrator in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, after studying Fine Arts at the University of British Columbia. I have been a graphic designer and creative director in New York City since 1985, and I have recently rekindled my passion for illustration and watercolor painting.
I am the author, illustrator and designer of the Max the City Dog book series, written and illustrated from 2020 to 2023 and self-published with Ingram Spark. The first book, A Day at the Beach, has been translated into Spanish. The series follows Max the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as he enjoys adventures with friends, including Joey, at the beach and beyond, celebrating friendship, courage, and curiosity.
