Sandrine Rudaz is a Swiss-French composer based in Los Angeles. She has recorded and conducted her scores with the finest musicians in renowned studios, including the historic Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Career honors include two Hollywood Music in Media Awards and a Jerry Goldsmith Award nomination. Lushly orchestral, emotionally riven, and of a modern yet timeless sensibility, her music artfully blends her European classical piano heritage with the breadth of Hollywood influences. Sandrine has contributed to the music teams of major studio projects such as Diablo IV (Blizzard), FUBAR (Netflix), REACHER (Amazon) or Mickey and the Very Many Christmases (Disney), and has scored over forty projects, including the TV show On the High Seas (ARTE / RTS) and the documentary PARADiCE, the latter earning her another coveted Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination. She is currently working on the documentary Yogis of Ukraine, directed by Bob Degus, producer of Austin Powers and the Oscar-nominated Pleasantville, for which she was awarded a grant from New Music USA’s Reel Change Fund. She has also scored acclaimed short films such as Kneeling Sheep and “A” for Alpha (HBO), the latter winning Best Original Score at the Garden State Film Festival. An accomplished pianist, Sandrine released her debut album, Papillon, in 2019. She was selected to attend the SESAC Workshop with composer John Swihart (How I Met Your Mother) and the LA Film Conducting Intensive with orchestrators William Ross (Star Wars, Titanic) and Conrad Pope (The Hobbit, Jurassic Park). Sandrine holds a Master of Music in Film Composition from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program, a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Conservatory of Lausanne, Switzerland, and further studied orchestration at Stanford University. Beyond her individual achievements, Sandrine is a dedicated ambassador for the Primetime Network, a board member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, a member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists, and Women In Film.
