uniE621 Future Zone Poster, flyer, Roll-up and screen design
Future Zone Mediapolis is a seminar series that brings together media professionals, students, and emerging technologies. The events featured guest speakers and demonstrations of the latest tools in virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence, offering insight into the evolving landscape of media and storytelling. As the graphic designer for the series, I created the visual identity and designed posters, flyers, screen visuals, and marketing materials for each event. While the core logo and graphic style remained consistent across the series, each edition had its own distinct color palette to reflect the specific theme. During my time with the project, I designed materials for nine events: Virtual Reality is Here, The Future of Media, Trends of the Future, How Do We Reach New Audiences? AI in the Media Industry, E-Sports, Augmented Reality in Facebook Applications, Making Short Form with Impact and Creation & Narrative. uniE608 Exhibition Visual Identity Design
I worked as the graphic designer for Uomilla 2023: jouten | idle, an exhibition held in August 2023 at Galleria MAA in Helsinki. The 2023 theme, jouten (idle), explored stillness, non-productivity, and the possibility of creativity emerging from rest. Rather than highlighting any single artwork in the visual identity, we in the publishing team chose a typographic and abstract approach that would reflect the conceptual tone of the exhibition. The visual identity centered on movement and flow, echoing the Finnish title Uomilla (on a riverbed). I created a background pattern based on video footage I shot of a river’s current, which I then transformed into a monochromatic graphic texture. The color was adjusted to a warm orange, used as the primary campaign color in digital communications and printed materials. Additional hues of blue and violet were used for merchandise and print items sold during the exhibition. As the graphic designer for the project, I created the visual identity, logo, exhibition catalogue, printed materials (poster, flyer, banner, and sticker), and designed templates and posts for social media platforms. https://www.behance.net/gallery/227930935/Uomilla-Visual-Identity-and-Editorial-Design graphicdesigner graphicdesign designer visualidentity visualidentitydesign branding logodesign branddesign exhibition exhibitiondesign marketing typography

I worked as the graphic designer for Uomilla 2023: jouten | idle, an exhibition held in August 2023 at Galleria MAA in Helsinki. Rather than highlighting any single artwork in the visual identity, we in the publishing team chose a typographic and abstract approach that would reflect the conceptual tone of the exhibition. Exhibition catalogue included interviews and information of the artists and their art works. We aimed to highlight the works so I designed a minimalist and clear layout with patterns familiar from Exhibition identity. uniE621 Book Design and Artistic Direction
Works and Thoughts is a publication presenting the works and reflections of students from the Institute of Design and Fine Arts, Lahti University of Applied Sciences. The book includes interviews and projects from all departments: Graphic Design, Multimedia Production, Photography, Jewellery Design, Vehicle Design, Fashion Design, Packaging Design, Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, Industrial Design, and Fine Arts. I was responsible for the entire graphic design of the book, including concept, layout, typography, cover design, colour palette and a custom pattern. My aim was to create a timeless and enduring visual identity where the student works remain in focus. As a recurring graphic element, I designed a subtle honeycomb pattern to represent collaboration and the diverse structure of the institute. The pattern appears throughout the book and as a colourful element on the cover. The book was published by Lahti University of Applied Sciences in 2011 and distributed to students and international partner institutions. uniE621 Jewellery Brand Logo Design
Sini Kolari is a Jyväskylä based jewelry brand. Her silver collections are inspired by the changing seasons of Finnish nature, wandering places near and far, slow mornings and the sound of rain. Her designs are filled with symbolism and Nordic mysticism, and she wishes that by wearing her pieces you can gain the mental strength that is hidden in the elements of Nordic nature. I created a logo and icon that embody brand's essence and a sense of slow luxury, drawing inspiration from its themes of symbolism, natural elements, and simplicity. The Gilded Nook is a Finnish jewellery brand founded and led by designer and goldsmith Juhani Ananin, whose work combines craftsmanship with a distinctive artistic flair. The brand is known for creating small, imaginative pieces that bring joy and curiosity to their wearers. Its collection includes high-quality silver jewellery—such as rings, pendants, and earrings—as well as miniature figurines inspired by mechanical forms, storytelling, and intricate detail. Tiny robots, bugs, gears and miniature constructions seem to come to life at the workbench. The project included designing a logo and developing a concept layout for the brand’s website. The logo icon draws inspiration from the brand’s distinctive silver figurines and the mechanical motifs found in its jewellery—such as gears and moving parts—reflecting the playful and imaginative world of The Gilded Nook.
