Hi I am Shreya Pekhale. I studied Computer Science at the University of Alberta and I currently work as a Software Development Engineer at AWS. I like building systems that work well at scale and using data to solve real problems. I have worked across software engineering data analytics and data science roles. At AWS I work on backend services where I have improved system performance built monitoring dashboards and supported production systems through on call work. In my previous roles at PCL Construction and the City of Edmonton I worked closely with data by writing SQL building pipelines and creating dashboards that helped teams make better decisions. What makes me stand out is that I am comfortable working on both the engineering and data side. I enjoy understanding how systems work end to end and I care about building solutions that are reliable clear and actually useful.
