Hi, I’m Tom Stafford, a songwriter, producer and audio engineer with over eight years of experience. Since 2016, I’ve been running my own recording studio in Soho, where I’ve crafted over 2,000 songs that have reached more than 100 million streams worldwide. I love collaborating with major label artists and independent creatives alike, bringing their musical visions to life.

I’ve had the privilege to work with high-profile clients such as Fred Again…, George Ezra, and Wolf Alice, and my work has taken me around the globe—from LA to Sweden, South Africa, and Japan. In 2018, I signed a publishing deal with Kobalt Music, and among my proudest achievements is producing Orla Gartland’s award-winning second album and chart-topping singles. Outside of music production, I also enjoy composing for film and theatre, always aiming to explore new creative expressions.

The album reached number 10 in the Official UK Album Chart Top 100, number 1 in the Official Independent Album Chart, and number 3 in the Official Irish Album Chart.

Co-produced the whole album alongside Orla and Pete Miles, also co-wrote 2/3 of the songs and performed on all of them.

The album was very well received by critics, with an aggregate score of 83/100 on Album of the Year, putting it as the 89th best reviewed album in the world in 2024.

The song “Mine” won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically, for which I composed an extensive string quartet arrangement exploring multiple extended techniques.
