I am an artist, musician, and technologist based in Silver Spring, MD.
Why technology and creative media? I believe technology should serve people first. I want to help make technology center the voices of human beings! Technology can be expressive, emotional, beautiful. I hope to bridge the gap between technical innovation and creative expression, and use emerging tools to allow for better connection and understanding between people everywhere.
Through my creative work, I have produced projects in film, 3D animation, sound art, interactive installations, game development, and sculpture. I am very familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Autodesk Maya (modeling, shading, rigging, lighting, python scripting, rendering, VFX, hair and cloth simulation), and audio recording/engineering/editing techniques.
My computer science work has explored applications of Artificial Intelligence and Visual Computing. I have experience with Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Numpy, Scikit, Plotly, etc), Java, SQL, C++, HTML, CSS, and Linux.

Industry Experience
- Helped create the shotlist and storyboarded some scenes.
- Worked in the 3D animation software Maya.
- Modeled and rigged two horse heads, and modeled environmental assets
- Animated and rendered a good portion of the shots. Most animation done by me was environmental (carousel, lighting, some horse facial movement).
- Edited a good amount of the film in Adobe Premiere, specifically the scenes before the more experimental section, and the scenes that show the final resolution. This included Color correction, covering up glitches in the rendered shots, and fixing timing problems.
- Led my team as far as the film’s soundtrack. I did most of the experimenting, recording, and editing with the soundtrack. The recordings were all performed by myself as well as other student musicians I invited to contribute to the project. I was in charge of all the sound engineering in my dorm room, which I converted into a small makeshift studio.
A short animated film I worked on with 3 other students in my Intro to Computer Animation class.
Pre-production:
Production:
Post-production:
- Modeled and rigged a body in Autodesk Maya, based off my own likeness.
- Fit a purchased skeleton model into the body, and rigged the skeleton
- Composed, recorded, and edited the film’s score.
- Generated character animations for the body and skeleton by connecting different joints in the rig to the signals of different audio tracks in the score, using a node network engineered in Maya.
Individual Project in Autodesk Maya
- Collaborated with a team of 12 to produce a short animated film.
- Led character rigging for the two main characters of the film in Maya, including the daughter’s face and body rig, and the father’s face rig.
- Supported and guided animators with rigging, adjusting the rig at their request and debugging any problems.
- Storyboarded lit scenes, modeled and shaded assets, shot live action, laid out camera.
- Experimented with environmental simulations such as dynamically responsive flora.
