Challenge: Growing from Local Service to Statewide Leadership
After 10 years of serving families in need, Portland Open Bible Community Pantry (POBC) had outgrown its original identity. With expanding hospital partnerships and statewide programs, their brand no longer reflected the full impact or the organization’s future vision. They needed a complete rebrand, including a new name, identity, messaging, and website, that honored their roots while positioning them to reach a broader audience in Oregon. At a moment when food insecurity is rising, and federal funding is uncertain, they needed a brand that could carry their mission—and their message of dignity and compassion—across the entire state.

    Solution: Rebranding for Statewide Growth
One Eight Creative led a full rebrand to transform POBC Pantry into Nourish Oregon, a name and brand built around dignity, compassion, and growth. We developed a new name and brand strategy to support statewide expansion. Through a new name rooted in action and care, a modern visual identity, and an uplifting brand voice, Nourish Oregon emerged as a nonprofit ready to inspire a new generation of volunteers, donors, and partners.

The design strategy intentionally reflected a youthful, accessible feel, giving the organization a platform strong enough to serve expanding hospital partnerships, mobile pantry programs, and new statewide initiatives. A new website was also developed to center real stories of impact, simplify community access to food, and invite supporters into the work.
