Ulas Yener is an interdisciplinary artist, architect, 3D designer, and media researcher working across moving images, sound, archives, and spatial storytelling. With nearly fifteen years of experience in architecture, interior architecture, visualization, and digital media production, his practice combines cinematic narratives, immersive environments, and experimental archival approaches across a wide range of design disciplines. He completed his M.Sc. in MediaArchitecture at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Art and Design focusing on migration media, archives, and autoethnographic artistic research. His ongoing long-term project Fremde Türen – El Kapıları investigates the cultural history of Turkish immigration in Germany through cinema, music, literature, oral histories, and collected media artifacts. Working between film, photography, sound, XR technologies, interactive media, and audiovisual installations, Yener develops projects that connect memory, cultural identity, and spatial experience through poetic and research-based storytelling.
