An interactive film in which the player controls the decisions of a man named Mark who has gotten lost in the woods alongside his friend Ace. However the more time the two spend together, the stranger the two become.

Unlike traditional “choose-your-own-adventure” stories, the player’s role shifts from simply choosing outcomes, to uncovering different “truths” about Ace; however, while the player can interact with Ace in multiple ways, it becomes increasingly difficult to truly grasp who Ace is or what the relationship between Ace and Mark really means. To explore these facets of Ace and Mark is to confront the question of whether we, as the players, can ever truly know enough to decide. And yet, to move forward, we always make some form of judgment.

So, “You and I” asks: how will you view Ace? How will you view Mark and Ace?

“You And I” was apart of my eight month Capstone project for my Bachelors of Media Studies degree, and is released onto Steam.
